Quayside Handling
Denholm Handling's Birkenhead facility provides quayside handling services for commodity traders and producers. The operation has over 25 years experience of a wide range of cargoes and vessels.
The facility has over 300,000 square feet of undercover storage, a quay length of 194 metres and can accept vessels with up to 8.7 metres draft. Handling equipment ranges from 4 tonnes to 28 tonnes.
Inventory Management:
With fully integrated stock inventory systems, Denholm Handling can provide full track and trace capability for product.
The computerised bar coding stock system can drill down to cartons and items within cartons, providing detailed reporting tailored to the individual customer requirement.
Pick and Pack:
A full 'pick n' pack' operation is in place offering the facility to pick even the smallest items.
Controlled by the integrated bar code system, re-packing, re-palletising and labelling are provided as required. Documentation, customs clearance and distribution are available for full loads, pallets and small packages.
