HANDLING SERVICES
Denholm Handling is able to cater for a range of specialist requirements:
Palletising
Denholm Handling handles any type of cargo, whether from road vehicles or sea going vessels, a completely flexible service is offered.
A full range of handling equipment is available; lifts of up 30 tonnes can accommodated. Specialist equipment including container devanners, steel handlers and quayside cranes are available.
Vanning and De-vanning:
Denholm Handling specialise in vanning and devanning shipping containers at both the Kirkby and Tilbury sites.
Specialist procedures, processes and handling equipment have been developed over the last 25 years to remove and load goods safely and without damage.
Container Packing/Unpacking:
Both the Kirkby and Tilbury sites specialise in the packing and unpacking of shipping containers. Specialist procedures, processes and handling equipment have been developed to remove and load goods safely.
Denholm Handling unpack over 6,000 containers per annum, handling a wide range of goods, including FMCG, forest and metal products. This volume and diversity has helped the company evolve 'best practise' methods for the safety and protection of customers' goods.
Stock Control:
Supported by computer systems providing both bar-coding and track & trace facilities, the Denholm Handling stock control function ensures products are protected throughout the logistics chain.
The system can be tailored to customer requirements including prioritising customer product codes, reference numbers and dispatch release numbers. This information can then be translated into electronic, bespoke, stock and movement reports. At any point in time, customers can be provided with 'real time' status information.
